Nikoloz Alavidze is the first individual impact investor that has become a supporter of Actio since its foundation.

The Executive Director of the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) Eka Urushadze and Nikoloz Alavidze signed the partnership agreement.

According to the partnership, over the next five years, Nikoloz will invest twenty-five thousand dollars in Actio to strengthen social enterprises by scaling up their economic and social impact.

In 2022 CSRDG established the impact fund Actio with the support of the European Commission and the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA), within the the project "Collaborate for Impact".

About Nikoloz Alavidze

Nikoloz Alavidze has over 23 years of experience in Banking, Finance, International Trade Finance, Consulting and Management. He served in the public sector as a Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia (May-December 2019).

At this moment Nikoloz works with Georgian Rugby as a Senior Advisor to the President. In addition, he acts as a managing partner of a few companies in the Real Estate and telecommunications industries.

Nikoloz is an entrepreneur and angel investor oriented on Impact investments. One of his projects that started in 2016 together with two partners, Altitude 3014, has gained international recognition and also has been awarded the Meliora Grand Prix in 2019 as a Most Responsible SME in Georgia.

Since 2022 Nikoloz has become an individual impact investor of Actio - the first impact Fund in Georgia.
