About Dediko
The social enterprise Dediko was founded in 2021 by the Constanta Foundation. Dediko provides single mothers and women caring for their elderly or disabled parents with opportunities for dignified living through employment, professional training, and personal development.
The idea for Dediko emerged after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which deeply affected almost every segment of society, especially socially vulnerable groups. The crisis had a particularly severe impact on single mothers, who had to navigate challenges alone. Dediko not only offers single mothers vocational training and employment but also provides a flexible work schedule and a supportive environment tailored to their needs.
In 2024, Dediko expanded its target group to include middle-aged women caring for elderly or disabled parents. These women have very limited employment opportunities and, as a result, face significant financial and emotional burdens.
Investment of Actio
Actio support will enable Dediko to expand its economic activities and increase its social impact. The enterprise plans to acquire new equipment, develop new product lines, and launch an online store.
As a result of this partnership, Dediko will receive:
- A grant of €31,600
- A 0% interest loan of €10,000
Additionally, Dediko will receive in-depth support in measuring social impact and strengthening organizational development.
